So I skipped gardening last year due a disappointing harvest two years ago, but this year I have been inspired by kale to try again. So we dug out a 5′x’5 area, lined it with the rocks we pulled out, and planted lacinato kale and dwarf blue curled scotch kale, and sprinkled some dill seeds around. To cap it off, we ate a lunch of purple kale, acorn squash, yellow rice, and sauerkraut.
