Smo-King Products

Smokin' Sessions is a night of performances and installations at The Smo~King Church, a collection of artists' studios in Red Hook. There will be 5 audio/visual performances by outstanding artists who utilize unique custom software and hardware instruments. Visual images will projected onto Smo~King's impressive 20 ft projection screen. Also, a multi-channel sound installation by one of Smo~King Church's dwellers Hans-Christoph Steiner and sculptures and structures by Madagascar Institute's Hackett, Mike Ross, Ryan O'Connor, and Lindsay McCosh.

Getting to The Smo~King Church

111 Pioneer St between Van Brunt and Richards, Red Hook, Brooklyn

to Jay St.: Transfer to the B61 bus right outside of the MTA building (up the escalator) going southbound.
to Smith/9th St.: Walk down 9th St. towards the highway/Manhattan/water. When 9th St. ends, veer to the right of the projects on to Verona St. then take a left on Richards, and a right on Pioneer.
to Hoyt St.: Get out and walk two blocks towards Manhattan/West, cross Jay St., take a right, walk one short block to the B61 bus stop, and take the B61 bus southbound.
Bus: Get off at Verona St. Walk down Van Brunt one and half blocks, past Visitation to Pioneer St. Take a left.
