Audrey was a network appliance made by 3Com for their now defunct Ergo division. It provided email, web browsing, an address book, notebook, and calendar, much like a Palm Pilot. I created all of the sounds that the machine made, including its start-up intro music. The sound scheme was designed to provide feedback to the specific nature of the user's actions.

CNet wrote a review of Audrey when it was released in Fall 2000. Audrey has become a favorite for hacker of all sorts because its cheap, relatively powerful, and has a nice color touchscreen. Here are a couple sites:
