Working with USB HIDs

This site is a joint effort with David Merrill and Olaf Matthes. as part of our [hidio] project.

The three of us have all worked on various projects related to this field in the past. Realizing that we have each covered different aspects of the same problem, we decided to combine efforts into something that built upon all of our previous work. The end goal is to create a suite of objects for Pd and Max/MSP which encapsulate this knowledge into a usable form.

A cross-platform (GNU/Linux and Mac OS X) object to get data from HIDs

A Windows-specific object to get data from HIDs

[input_noticer]

This is an object to greatly simplify the use of HIDs in a performance environment.

[linuxevent]

A Linux-specific object to get data from HIDs.
